Did you hear about this baby that was born at 21ish weeks and has survived? Not that having the baby on the outside now would be a good thing, but you are tiptoe-ing up to viability!!!

Yeah, but when I read about it my Early Intervention brain can't help but add a lot of things the news isn't reporting. Not to mention how totally rare it is.

I personally don't really consider viability to start until at least 25 weeks - I know it can happen and does happen but I have really mixed feelings about heroic efforts before that time.

Still, that's only a month from now...
