Family - extended and otherwise
So, we are spending the holiday with Jude's brother and his wife. I have to say their enjoyment and downright joy in August is wonderful.
I am glad my daughter has them for family. Maybe it makes up, a little, the rather bland reception my brother and his wife have for August. (I know my brother and SIL have issues because they couldn't get pregnant - but I am tired of giving them excuses.)
So yay for Uncle Rick and Aunt Gretchen.

HI I'm new to your blog :) your daughter is adorable! It is great to have good family around for support... We are pretty much on our own out here in socal - I often wish we lived closer to family. Do they (uncle rick and aunt gretchen) live nearby? Wishing you happy Xmas! *hugs*
Look at those chubby cheeks! Those eyebrows! So cute!
