Why would someone offer to throw you a baby shower and then back out?

It's just the idea of it. I know that it can be a big undertaking, especially when people have lives and stuff, I just can't imagine offering and then backing out. I dunno.; 8:39 AM

indigoscot said...: ditto to previous statement - they suck. the couple hosting our baby shower (at our house i might add cause we have many friends and they have a tiny house and 4 VERY large dogs) are having...hmmm...some "marital issues", so dp and i are prepared that it might just end up being us and her best friend doing the organising. BUT at least we have warning of the possibility....
